Description

This is a repair service only and applies to cars with an actual Steering Angle Sensor, not just the clock spring, usually fitted to STI/widetrack cars with A-DCCD.

If your DCCD has stopped working because the steering angle sensor has a fault set due to steering wheel removal/misalignment then I can clear the code, you do not need to buy a new sensor!

This is normally fault code P1767 or C0071

If the sensor stopped working after a serious accident then I would suggest buying a new sensor, it may actually be damaged.

This usually manifests as flashing DCCD selector light(s) on the dash.

You can also check the steering angle using the FreeSSM tool and a cable to confirm.
